Music The official song of Rio de Janeiro is "Cidade Maravilhosa," which means "marvelous city." Funk Carioca is a genre of music unique to Rio and Brazil Food Two popular dishes are feijoda completa (beans and meat) and arroz-feijao (rice and black or red beans). Other commom foods include pasta, chicken, sausage, beer, vegetables, and tropical fruits. 
The most popular sport is football (soccer). Rio is home to the Maracanã stadium, one of the world's largest football stadiums. Maracanã stadium will host the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and football matches of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
